Mr. Sisca was the Assistant United States Trustee for the Western District of Pennsylvania from 1999 through 2022. He managed the United States Department of Justice’s Office of the United States Trustee. Following his tenure as head of the Pittsburgh office, Mr. Sisca was a Department of Justice trial attorney from 2022 through 2024.
From 1986 through 1999, Mr. Sisca practiced at a national law firm, representing financial institutions, other lenders, landlords, trade creditors and asset purchasers in all aspects of insolvency law and litigation.
Joe has been a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy topics, including more than 20 presentations for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
Joe is Treasurer of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Corpus Christi Chapter, and a Lector and Catechist for Corpus Christi Parish. He is an avid reader, accomplished trumpeter and recreational pianist.
